Organic Whey Protein

Anyone taking whey protein is doing their bodies a good service. You could argue, however, they’d be going one better by taking organic whey protein instead. To those who ‘don’t get it’, going organic is just being picky. However, more and more people are waking up to the fact that the majority of our food has had some kind of chemicals sprayed onto it, hormones injected into it, or is made with artificial colors, preservatives and flavors. Organic whey protein is the ideal choice for those who want the awesome health and muscle-growth benefits of whey protein but want it at it’s healthiest.

A shining example of truly organic whey protein is Jay Robb Whey Protein; which is organic from the ground up – literally. Jay Robb organic whey protein is made with whey which comes from cows milk, from cows which haven’t been injected with Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH), and only fed on grass. It also contains no MSG, aspartame, artificial flavors or colorings. It’s also gluten free.

Organic whey protein can sometimes have a higher price tag as a result of the extra costs involved in keeping the product organic, but if you are concerned about only putting natural sources of foods into your body then organic whey protein is a great choice to go for.

While not completely organic, other protein manufacturers are waking up to the growing demand for organic whey protein and are working to minimize the amounts of controversial or unnatural ingredients in their whey blends. If only certain ingredients or processes concern you, you could try shopping around to see what other types of whey protein are on offer.
